Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC Promotes R. Clay Bartlett to Equity Member

_0001s_0004_Clay Bartlett 4.webCoan, Payton & Payne, LLC is pleased to announce that R. Clay Bartlett has been promoted to an Equity Member of the firm. Mr. Bartlett’s legal practice focuses on assisting clients in business and real estate matters by empowering them to maximize value, minimize risk or otherwise achieve their goals. In addition, Mr. Bartlett also maintains an entertainment law practice, assisting music venues and festivals procuring and contracting with talent.

Clay is one of the most talented attorneys around and this career step shows our complete confidence in him and his future” he continued.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Bartlett enjoyed a successful career in commercial banking, where he managed a portfolio of commercial loans and assisted with strategic business planning, credit monitoring, and risk mitigation, among other duties. Mr. Bartlett is a graduate from the University at Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as his law degree. In law school, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Edward C. Moss in Brighton, CO, and was a member of the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal.

Mr. Bartlett also takes great pride in serving his community. He is currently involved with United Way and Rotary International and is an adjunct professor at Colorado State University. In the past, he has served on the Board of Directors of B.A.S.E. Camp, a nonprofit providing out of school care for children and chaired the Larimer County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Bylaws Committee.
