Donovan Gibbons is an attorney with CP2’s business litigation group in the firm’s Greeley, Colorado office. His practice focuses on helping clients with all areas of real estate, business, and banking litigation. Before joining CP2, Mr. Gibbons worked in the legal department at Woodward, Inc., an international manufacturing and design company.
Mr. Gibbons graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2018. Throughout law school, Mr. Gibbons served as a published contributor on the Race to the Bottom, a student-faculty collaborative blog that covers current laws, regulations, and court decisions in the areas of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. In law school Mr. Gibbons also published an article in the Denver Law Review Online, held leadership positions with the Student Bar Association, interned with the legal department at Agrium, Inc., and interned as a law clerk to the Honorable Natalie T. Chase of the 18th Judicial District Court in Arapahoe County.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gibbons graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a major in Philosophy with an emphasis on the philosophy of law and society. He was also a founding member of the Psi Chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.
Originally from Fort Collins, Mr. Gibbons is proud to be a Colorado native and in his free time he enjoys weightlifting, spending time in the mountains, and traveling.
