Attorneys

Mr. Williams works primarily from the firm’s Greeley office though he represents clients throughout Northern Colorado. Mr. Williams’ legal practice focuses on litigation and appeals with an emphasis on assisting clients with business and real estate disputes.  In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Williams also assists clients with general business and real estate matters such as entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, ownership disputes, and representing landlords in forcible entry and detainer actions.

As an experienced litigation attorney, Mr. Williams has had the opportunity to bring numerous cases to both trial and dispositive hearings. He is an experienced appellate advocate with published decisions in both Colorado and Iowa. Prior to joining CP2, Mr. Williams’ practiced extensively in the areas of domestic relations law which makes him uniquely capable of providing legal advice to business owners as they navigate changes to their marital status.

Mr. Williams received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Colorado State University, and graduated with honors from Drake University Law School. While at Drake University, Joe was a member of the Drake Law Review and captained the school’s appellate advocacy team. He is a board member of the Weld County Bar Association, has taught continuing legal education courses, and is a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

When not practicing law, Joe spends time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys hobbies such as brewing beer, building computers, and attending Broncos and Avalanche games.
