Attorneys

Licensed in both Colorado and Idaho, Ms. Amy Wegner Kho’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate and elder law, as well as in the areas of real estate and natural resource law. Her interest in estate planning is rooted from her childhood spent on her parent’s Oregon cattle ranch, where she saw many families ripped apart because no will or estate plan had been put in place. After witnessing the heartbreak of historic farms and ranches sold to intestacy battles or estate taxes, her goal is to help families create estate plans and small businesses create succession plans to respectfully ease the transfer of assets after death.

Ms. Kho loves teaching about her passion for estate planning in the community and to organizations, and is a frequent speaker at local Senior Law Days. She has also taught a number of continuing legal education seminars to other attorneys, including classes such as Estate Planning for Farm and Ranch Owners: Key Issues for Planners and Administrators.

Ms. Kho is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, where she currently serves on the Elder Law Section Executive Council and the Agricultural Law Section Executive Council. In addition to service at the Colorado Bar, Ms. Kho is a board member on the Town of Erie Historic Preservation Advisory Board and a past member of the Denver Church of Christ Board of Directors.

Ms. Kho current lives in Erie, Colorado with her husband and their four children. In addition to spending time with her children, she loves traveling back to Oregon to help work on the family cattle ranch as much as possible.
