Attorneys

Brett M. Busch is a litigation attorney representing clients in Northern Colorado and his practice focuses on real estate and business litigation and all related issues.  Brett is admitted to practice law in all courts within the State of Colorado and the United States District Court and is a member of the Colorado and Larimer County Bar Associations.

Brett received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in Business Finance.  He received his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2010 and graduated with honors. He is a published author in the Washburn Law Journal and has had cases featured in the local and national media.

Before practicing with Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC, Brett ran his own practice in Loveland, Colorado.  His firm focused on representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims and has extensive experience in litigating those matters.  Brett was on the Board of Directors of the Workers’ Compensation Education Association, an organization dedicated to preserving and expanding the rights of injured workers.  He frequently spoke on Workers’ Compensation Law at Continuing Legal Education seminars before other attorneys, judges and state agency personnel.

Brett grew up in Northern Colorado and looks forward to continuing his practice in this area.
