Judith E. Lajoie is a transactional lawyer specializing in commercial finance and commercial real estate.  She has practiced law in Colorado, in both in-house and law firm settings for more than three decades and has held senior leadership positions in several nonprofit organizations including chairing the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival and leading the community advisory board for Colorado Public Radio.  Judith’s in-house experience includes heading the real estate acquisition team for Richmond American Homes via its holding company, MDC, serving as head counsel to the investment division of Great-West Life, and as general counsel to CoBiz Bank, doing business in Colorado and Arizona as Colorado Business Bank and Arizona Business Bank.  As bank general counsel, Judith focused on loan workouts and touched all areas of bank lending, loan operations, treasury management, human resources, litigation supervision, and frequent interactions with the business bank, and the investment and insurance subsidiaries.

Judith originally hails from New York which she still considers to be her spiritual home (and where she is still licensed), and enjoys tap, hip hop and jazz dance, Zumba, theater, foreign movies, and reading in her spare time.  She shares a home with her husband Bill and their very worldly cat Charlotte who is the real homeowner.
