Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC is pleased to announce Amanda T. Huston has been promoted to Senior Associate. Ms. Huston serves clients throughout Northern Colorado as part of Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC’s business and real estate team. Her practice focuses on business & corporate law, land use planning & zoning law, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate law.
Ms. Huston is a member of: Colorado Bar Association (Business Law Section), Urban Land Institute Northern Colorado Committee, and the Neighbor to Neighbor Asset Management Committee. Additionally, Ms. Huston is the Vice President of the Larimer County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Coordinating Editor of the Colorado Lawyer Young Lawyer Division, serves on the board of the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado, and is a board member with Uncaged. She was also a recipient of BizWest’s 40 Under Forty Award in 2019.
Ms. Huston graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016, earning a certificate in corporate and commercial law. She was a recipient of the Excellence in Land Use Law Student award from the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute.
Before joining Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC, Ms. Huston clerked for the Honorable David M. Furman at the Colorado Court of Appeals.
