“Minimizing the Impact of Income Taxes on Trusts and Estates”

CP2 attorney Peter B. Scott participated in the 2014 Professional Advisor Seminar Series on June 5, 2014 hosted by the Community Foundation of Greeley and Weld County. The presentation was presented to an audience of CPAs, attorneys, enrolled agents and financial advisors. Mr. Scott’s presentation focused on the fundamentals of income taxation of trusts and estates and the planning techniques that may be utilized to avoid or minimize the adverse impact of new laws on estate plans.

Attorney Peter B. Scott received his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also received his Masters of Laws in Taxation. Mr. Scott’s practice is focused on estate and tax planning, business planning, business succession planning and complex tax matters.
