Mr. Coan received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with honors from the University of Northern Colorado and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver. Mr. Coan serves as the Secretary/Treasurer on the Colorado Bar Association’s Business Law Section Council and as the Co-Chair of the Financial Institutions Subsection. He also serves as the Vice-Chair for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Innosphere as well as on the Advisory Board for the Colorado State University Everitt Real Estate Center and the Board of Directors for United Way of Larimer County.
Mr. Coan’s practice focuses on corporate and real estate related matters including purchase and sale transactions, business organization and capitalization, corporate M&A transactions, land planning and development, oil and gas development and transactions, all issues related to financial institutions and lender/creditor rights involving real estate and commercial loan transactions.
